"This CD was a joy to receive in our home. Although I am very much a “no Christmas until after Thanksgiving person”, I am happy to say I didn’t mind popping this one in and previewing some wonderful holiday music. I say “holiday” because this CD offers music for any variety of celebration you are having be it Christmas, Hanukkah, or Kwanza. All of my kids loved the entire album however “Nothin’ for Christmas” and “I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas” were their favorite…. Yes, even the titles of their songs make you want to smile and giggle." Click here to read more.

"I was really hoping that my daughter would love the album but it actually went better than expected--I love it, too! The beats are perfect for dancing and so upbeat. Cool Stuff

"The Jimmies’ wildly imaginative Trying Funny Stuff collection of children’s music and videos, the latter directed by Michael Slavens, is outstanding, award-winning entertainment for kids. Start with high- energy tunes featuring the powerful voice of Ashley Albert (also the videos’ writer and producer), stir in multilay- ered, surreal animation, add a heaping portion of They Might Be Giants–style goofiness, a segment in high-contrast black-and-white (à la film noir), and a dash of home-movie footage, and voilà!— you get one of the most innovative kids’ video packages this reviewer has seen. “Film 101: Behind-the-Scenes Docu- mentary,” a bonus feature, will fascinate young minds with the details of build- ing sets, designing hair and makeup, and computer-generated special effects."
