The Jimmies--Mama Said Nog You Out--Review and Giveaway

"In their latest new CD, The Jimmies has managed to re-do classic Christmas music in versions that I am still enjoying even this close to the actual holiday. Mama Said Nog You Out is spectacular and hilarious. The Track List which includes titles like “Nogturne in C Minor” and “Marshmallow World” is so funny that just reading the back of the CD makes me smile. But the real treat is in the artists. If you haven’t heard of The Jimmies before now, then I encourage you to check them out immediately. They have a folksy/popsy sound that is somehow different yet strangely appealing at the same time. Although it seems like they specialize in children’s music, their Christmas album proves that the can be fun for the whole family." Click here to read more.

For her 37th, last April, she hosted a murder-mystery birthday and asked friends to dress up as their assigned characters. Every year, she also “makes” her two best friends sleep over at her apartment in Gramercy Park." Click here to read more.

Holiday Music Review: The Jimmies Mama Said Nog You Out, Heavily Endorsed by the Fruitcake Defense League

"This CD was a joy to receive in our home. Although I am very much a “no Christmas until after Thanksgiving person”, I am happy to say I didn’t mind popping this one in and previewing some wonderful holiday music. I say “holiday” because this CD offers music for any variety of celebration you are having be it Christmas, Hanukkah, or Kwanza. All of my kids loved the entire album however “Nothin’ for Christmas” and “I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas” were their favorite…. Yes, even the titles of their songs make you want to smile and giggle." Click here to read more.
