The latest band that we're rocking out to is the Jimmies. They are literally an indie rock band for kids, the brain child of Ashley Albert. I had the pleasure of meeting Ashley at an event a few months ago and was amazed when she told me that she wasn't a mom but just a kid music singer. When I asked her why she chose kids' music, she smiled, like a little kid, and simply said, "because I'm a kid at heart."
